Jag tror nog att min favorit av de här fem böckerna är The
Unknown Ajax. Jag gillade Heyers porträttering av Hugo Darracott, huvudpersonen.
Det är ganska roligt att se hur han hanterar sina släktingar som han just
träffat och som har förutfattade meningar om hans fattiga uppväxt. De tror att
han är en tölp, och han spelar med för att inte göra dem besvikna, tills
familjen hamnar in en kris och måste rycka in och rädda dem.
I think, though, that my favorite of these five is probably The Unknown Ajax. I really liked Heyer's portrait of Hugo Darracott, the main character. It's fun to read about how he handles his newly acquired relatives, who are prejudiced against him for having grown up poor. They see him as bumpkin, and he plays along in order not to disappoint them, until the family is in trouble... and he's forced to step in and save the day!
