resor! Så inspirerande! Jag älskar att läsa om äventyrliga resor i böcker. Nå,
nu ska jag ”berätta om tre bra böcker som
innehåller resor, gärna av lite mer äventyrlig art” som jag verkligen
gillade! :-D

I början av första världskriget blir Deryn Sharp (en tjej
utklädd till pojke) kadett i luftdjursskeppet Leviathan, där hon får ta del
av ett äventyr som tar henne världen runt! Hon är med och bl.a. räddar den döda
Ärkehertigens hemliga son Aleks från tyskarna, tar del i en revolution mot
Sultanen i Istanbul, räddar skeppet från en explosion i New York. Väldigt rolig
läsning och inte alls historiskt korrekt!
It's the beginning of World War I and Deryl Shap, a girl disguised as a boy, is the whale airship Leviathan, where she gets to be part of an epic adventure that will take her around the world. She saves the Archduke's secret son from the Germans, helps out in a revolution against the Sultan in istanbul, saves the ship from exploding in New York. An entertaining read and not the least historically accurate!
Här får läsaren följa med på en resa genom en gammal mans liv
som börjar i en Naziokuperad stad i Polen på andra världskriget och slutar i en
parkbänk i New York 60 år senare. Manen, Leo tänker tillbaka till sitt liv och försöker spåra en bok som han skrev till sin älskade Alma.
In this book the reader gets to travel through an old man's live that starts in Nazi occupied Poland in WWII and end in a park bench in New York 60 years later. Leo, the protagonist thinks back on his life as he tried to track a book that he wrote for his love Alma.

Tyvärr finns den här boken bara på portugisiska, men den är
sååå bra! Ingen Dör av Kärlek Längre är familjen Palma Lobos odyseé, som tar oss
genom Mocambique, Angola, Lissabon, Alentejo, och Brasilien. Berättelsen
handlar om farfars far, farfar, far och son: alla excentriska, alla
kvinnokarlar som dör pga kärlek. Innan den siste Palma Lobo dör ber han sin vän
(berättaren) att skriva familjens biografi, där han måste reda
ut mysterierna kring alla dessa underliga dödsfall.
Unfortunately is book only exists in portuguese, but it's sooo good! No One Dies of Love Anymore is about the Palma Lobos family odysey, which takes us through Mozambique, Angola, Lisbon, Alentejo and Brazil. The story follows the great grandfather, grandfather, father, and son: all of them eccentric, all lovers of women that end up dying due to and of love. Before the last Palma Lobo dies, he asks the narrator to write a family biography where he must resolve the mysteries around these curious deaths.
