Han ser
lite sliskig ut MEN han har en ljuvlig basbaryton röst: mörk, rytmisk, sansad,
och sexig… det går helt enkelt inte att bli trött på att höra honom prata. Med
en sådan röst är det inte konstigt att han har hundratals ljudböcker under bältet,
och att han gång på gång vinner både Earphone Awards och Audie Awards för sina
insattser som ljudboksuppläsare. Mycket av det han läser är facklitteratur (om historia,
politik och samhället), och kriminalromaner— sånt som kräver en medelålders
mans röst. När han inte dominerar ljudboksscenen, gör han teaterföreställningar— han har examen i drama från Yale, så jag gissar på att han är
en bra skådepelare. :P
His looks are a bit sleazy, BUT he has a lovely bass-baritone voice! It's dark, rhythmic, calm, and sexy... it is simply impossible to get tired of listening to him speak. With such a voice, it is no wonder that he has hundreds of audiobooks under his belt, and that he repeatedly wins both Earphone Awards and Audie Awards for his performances as a reader. Much of what he reads is non-fiction (mostly about history, politics and society) and crime novels— i.e stuff that requires a middle-aged man's voice. When he's not dominating audiobook scene, he does theatre— in fact, he has a degree in drama from Yale, so I guess he must be a good actor. :P
